What does a typical Sunday morning look like?
People begin arriving at Crowfield around 9 am each Sunday morning.
- The Cafe at Crowfield: Stop by for a free pastry and cup of coffee or tea. Prior to heading to Bible study, folks gather in the Cafe to talk and encourage each other and build community. The Cafe is open from 9-9:30 and then again from 10:30-11 each Sunday morning. The Cafe is located in The Great Room adjacent to the lobby in the main building.
- Bible Study: A variety of classes are offered for children, students and adults. Welcome Center Staff can assist you in finding a class that meets the needs of you and your family. All Bible study classes begin at 9:30 am and meet in the main building.
- Children - Classes for newborns - 6th grade are offered. Children learn about God's love from teachers who love children and their families. Our goal is to provide a nurturing and safe environment where children can learn about Jesus on a weekly basis.
- Students - Middle school and high school students meet upstairs in the youth room for announcements and then head off to small groups to discuss the day's topic. Each Sunday's lesson is designed to help students live for Christ as they engage their culture and world.
- Adults - A variety of classes are offered fro age groups and life stages. Most adult classes meet on the first and second floor of the education building.
- Worship: Our worship service begins at 11 am in the Worship Center and lasts about an hour. Our time of worship begins with music as we lift our praises to God. Each week, a message from the Bible is shared that is both relevant and applicable to your daily life. A time of response is offered after the message and counselors are available to talk with you about any questions you may have or any decisions you may need to make. At the end of our time of worship, we collect an offering in order to give back to God who has given so much to us. You are welcome to participate in the time of giving, or you may choose to wait until you know us a little better.
- Preschoolers - An extended teaching time is offered for newborns - age 3. Volunteers help children continue to learn about God's love through teaching, music and play.
- Children - Children ages 4 - 4th grade have the opportunity to attend Worship KidStyle during the worship hour. Children learn to worship God through music, Bible stories, games and other activities designed to teach them about the love of God. Worship KidStyle meets in The Great Room and begins at 11 am.
